General Manager

As General Manager, Sue Engler, a Wisconsin native, leads guest experiences and oversees legacy-worthy hotel operations.

Sue has embraced over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as the General Manager at an independently owned destination resort property. Her ability to drive revenue as Director of Sales in 2001 for the 2004 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits and as Sales Executive for Destination Kohler & Destination St. Andrews in 2011 has elevated her career opportunities. She has served on the Lakeland College Hospitality Advisory Board as well as the Sheboygan Visitors Board helping direct insights on the bright future of hospitality professionals, as well as how the hospitality industry has a positive financial impact on a destination business community.

Her professional achievements go beyond the hospitality industry as a Divisional Management Executive for 10 years at Kaytee Products, Inc., Chilton, WI, a brand leader in the manufacturing of bird and pet foods. Her qualifications include a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as ongoing professional development and leadership training current to the latest trends and best practices.
