Assistant General Manager

Amanda Rammes

Assistant General Manager

With a natural instinct to help others, Amanda’s early career pursuits were in nursing before she realized that hospitality, a profession she worked in while at Lakeshore Technical College, was her true calling.

Now a seasoned professional and hospitality leader with twenty years of experience with resorts, hotels, banquets, special event management and food and beverage, Amanda’s nurturing personality pairs well with her work ethic nurtured in her hometown of Valders, Wisconsin.

Having lived and worked in Wisconsin throughout her life, Amanda understands the distinctiveness of Midwest charm and seeks to bring that to the forefront at Legacy. She believes it begins with having an intentional culture of staff collaboration.

As assistant general manager at Legacy, Amanda’s desire now is to mentor her team as she’s been mentored—having flourished under a hotel owner and general manager who helped develop her hospitality skills early. “This experience impacted my life in a major way and influenced the direction of my career path. I grew within that company and became well-versed in all areas of the hotel industry while taking on more responsibility in leadership,” she shares. “My goal is to cultivate that with the Legacy team. As a result, our guest experience of unparalleled service will exist because of our team’s culture of collaboration.”

Most recently, Amanda served as executive director of banquet operations and managed housekeeping, front desk, waterpark, multiple food and beverage outlets, and a full-service conference center along Northeastern Wisconsin’s lakeshore. Now, as assistant general manager at Legacy, Amanda looks forward to bringing a unique and distinctive hotel experience to Green Bay.
